Located on the Northern tip of Borneo, Kudat was the first capital of Sabah. A journey to this historical town will take you through picturesque scenery.
Kudat�s beautiful white sandy beaches stretch for miles and its sunsets are simply breathtaking!
When visiting Kudat, a visit to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau also literally known as The Tip of Borneo is a must.
It is 50km or 30 minutes drive by a car from the Kudat Township. The journey will take you pass wild coconut trees and friendly villages.
The islands of Banggi and Kelambu Island. About 15 minutes away from the tip is a popular spot among the locals for fishing and long walks along the beach.
Visitors to Simpang Mengayau will not only pride themselves on setting foot on the northern most tip of Borneo but its also where they can view South China Sea meeting up with the Sulu Sea.
Or if you have not been to the norther tip of Borneo, why not make a trip to Kudat during one of the weekends. It will definitely be a satisfying break for you and your family as Kudat has so much to offer to visitors.
